Anny was born in Caracas, Venezuela. She is fully bilingual in Spanish, immigrating to the US at the age of 10, making Florida her home since. She graduated from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice. She earned her Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida, graduating with a Pro-Bono Honors award for completing over 100 hours of Pro-Bono work. Some of this work included participating in Citizenship Day (assisting eligible applicants with their naturalization application), and Juvenile Street Law (teaching community youth programs about the legal system). After law school, Anny pursued a master’s in business administration from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida. Anny is an Associate Attorney at the Firm’s Jacksonville, Florida office where she focuses on Administrative Law and Immigration.

While in Law School, Anny was a part of the Immigrant & Human Rights Clinic, assisting lower income individuals with access to the federal legal system. She also interned at the St. John’s County State Attorney’s Office, assisting with drafting motions and preparing for court. Prior to joining The Edmunds Law firm, Anny practiced all aspects of immigration law, allowing her the opportunity not only to give back to the immigrant community, but also learn Administrative Law processes.

In her free time, Anny likes to spend time with her family, in particular her two kids and her Yorkie, Chewie. She also enjoys traveling, and reading books.
